At Big Jeep Tours, we believe your adventure shouldn’t end when you step out of the Jeep. That’s why we created LarryValda Woodworking.
Larry and Valda Bishop were the heart and creative soul of our family. Larry, a standout college athlete turned master craftsman, could build or repair anything with extraordinary precision. He excelled at outdoor creations — hand-tying fishing flies, crafting custom rods, forging knives, and making fine leather goods - while also bringing artistry to music. His patience and meticulous detail defined everything he made.
Valda, the beloved matriarch and radiant face of the family, was deeply respected in the community as a generous mentor and the family’s creative force. A leader in the community and a masterful craftswoman, she brought warmth and beauty to life with ideas, intricate crochet, and exquisite quiltmaking.
LarryValda Woodworking was created in their memory. Every piece is handcrafted right here in Bisbee by me, Travis Bishop, using the same patience and skill my dad taught me. These aren’t ordinary souvenirs - they are durable, functional treasures designed to become part of your daily life and keep the memory of your Bisbee adventure alive for years to come.
